Heroes Run

Movement is important for everyone, even if you have a disability! The Heroes Run will take place on Saturday, October 18, and is intended for everyone with a disability or chronic condition. It doesn't matter if you're in a wheelchair, use a prosthesis, have visual impairments, face psychological challenges, or something entirely different. You are welcome!

Registration

Registration for the Heroes Run is already open and will close no later than October 6.

Course

The course is 1,000 meters and has been made as accessible as possible, so you can join in Amsterdam! If you don't want to run alone, bring a buddy. They won't receive a race bib but can participate as a guide.
Participation in the Heroes Run costs €7.50. The run starts at 12:45 PM from Stadionweg (area B) and finishes in the Olympic Stadium, where you'll receive your medal!

Finish and medal

At the finish, you will receive a medal specially designed for this edition, celebrating the anniversary—a unique and lasting memory!

Charity

In Amsterdam, 1 out of 5 kids grows up living below the poverty line with insufficient economic resources. This means that approximately 30.000 children in Amsterdam do not have access to the opportunities that their more fortunate peers may take for granted, for example, participating in organized sports. Jeugdfonds Sport Amsterdam pays the membership fees for a child from a low-income family directly to the sports association. Requests can be send to one of the 1100 intermediaries in Amsterdam.

This year Jeugdfonds Sport and Le Champion are teaming up in order to get more children involved in sports in Amsterdam. Our mission: get Amsterdam kids moving! We are already looking forward to see those happy faces and running children during the Mini Marathons.
