Amsterdam City Walk

Amsterdam City Walk

The vibrant city centre, parks in autumn colours and classic neighbourhoods make Amsterdam special. On Saturday 18 October, the day before the TCS Amsterdam Marathon, it is time to experience the capital in a surprising way. The Amsterdam City Walk offers six different routes of 10, 14, 17, 20, 26 and 33 km to get to know the city on foot.

With three unique starting locations, participants will experience a flying start to their Amsterdam Experience. Participants of the 17, 20, 26 and 33 km start from the iconic Olympic Stadium. The 14 km walkers start their walk around the corner of Westerpark. The famous Rembrandtplein in the heart of the city is the starting location of the 10 km.
For everyone
The Amsterdam City Walk is suitable for everyone. The field of participants is very varied every year: from experienced walkers who can't get enough of long distances to novice and young walkers who take on the 10-kilometre challenge or enjoy it at their leisure. Walkers of all ages come to Amsterdam on Saturday 18 October to enjoy the varied routes and the atmosphere of the city.

A real Amsterdam Experience
Amsterdam has always been buzzing. There are many ways to experience the city. By looking, listening and tasting. This all comes together during the Amsterdam City Walk: a real Amsterdam Experience.

Along the way, the organisers provide entertainment in the form of pleasant Amsterdam choirs and folk singers and at the refreshment posts, participants are handed typical delicacies from Amsterdam. The routes will take walkers past world-famous Amsterdam icons and hidden gems that make the capital so unique.
